ULab
ULab is a web-based laboratory and equipment management system. It enables facilities to catalogue their key laboratory equipment. ULab operates from the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow.
Using ULab is reasonably intuitive to use. You can create an account on the ULab website. If you have a large amount of equipment to upload or have any other problems, please contact us. Please see the instructional videos above.
Tagging
To make it as easy as possible for others to find your listing, please tag your equipment carefully.
You can find some suggested tags for common equipment here.
N.B. The ULab search algorithm uses a simple text search, so when tagging your equipment it’s best to use both terms which include spaces; e.g. “nuclear magnetic resonance,” and terms which exclude spaces; e.g. “nuclear, magnetic, resonance,”. You may also wish to include brand names or your surname.
